SCULPTRA

SCULPTRA® is a synthetic material having a composition identical to lactic acid produced by our muscles during exercise. It is a filler initially used to fill large facial muscle losses in people with AIDS. Gradually, SCULPTRA® began to be used for regular procedures in the field of aesthetic medicine.

In aesthetic medicine, SCULPTRA® is used to improve the appearance of the skin, especially in cases of large defects in the subcutaneous tissue such as: sunken cheeks, sunken chin, concave eye sockets, deep nasolabial wrinkles and other facial mimic wrinkles.

SCULPTRA® is also used to rejuvenate thinned skin of the hands.

Everyone can undergo SCULPTRA® treatments, but the best results are obtained for people between 35 and 60 years of age. SCULPTRA® is injected with a thin needle into predetermined places. If the defect or wrinkle is small, anesthetic cream or cooling of the area before injection is sufficient. For larger procedures, local anesthesia is used. The procedure lasts from 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the size and extent of the fillings.

The very natural final effect is visible after 6-8 weeks and involves the gradual reconstruction of your own collagen. The treatment can be repeated several times until the optimal result is achieved, which lasts over 2 years.
